TANCA su CONTI - (Cannonau/Carignano) 2003

A guaranteed crowd-pleaser, which really proves you don't need to rely on international grape varieties to appeal to a broad spectrum of palates. From two indigenous varietals - Cannonau and Carignano, this Sardinian red shows the former’s ripe fruit and soft, juicy tannins allied to a spicy, leathery complexity, with cardamon, resin and woodsmoke notes typical of the latter.
