Corporate Tastings

Format 1: Tutored Wine Tasting

An evening tutored wine tasting, either in house or at a central restaurant's private room.

This would involve 6-8 different wines for 8-24 clients, with a selection of breads and charcuterie, a smoked salmon platter and cheeseboard.

• A competitive or team element can easily be introduced with ‘Blind Wines’ and/or quiz questions.
• Extras include advanced caterering/food pairing, either for enhanced canape selection/specific regional/varietal matched dishes.

Base Price: £400 - £1200 inc vat.

NB: this does not include venue hire (if required) and/or extra catering beyond that mentioned above. Larger groups can also be accommodated.

Format 2: Tasting & Entertaining

Entertainment for a reception/launch/larger party, again either on the premises or at a central venue.

To add structure to the event, the wines (for example one sparkling, one white and one red) would correspond to a pre-arranged theme, as would the accompanying canapes (i.e. highlighting the gastronomy of a particular wine region).

Also at various stages during the evening, groups of up to 30 clients interested in more formal Tasting will gather for a more in-depth tasting of 3-4 related wines (i.e. - different Champagnes/Sparkling wines or Bordeaux-style blends etc).

NB - This approach offers the benefit of not disturbing the flow of the evening for all but offers more entertainment/education than a simple drinks party.

The ‘mini’ group tastings during the event will typically last 30 minutes, allowing guests to re-circulate in the main party.
